Abigon Posting Rules

1. General Principles

• Ads must be clear, truthful, and relevant to the selected category.
• The main language of the site is English, but ads in other languages are allowed. Each ad must use the correct alphabet for the chosen language (no transliteration). Non-English ads must comply with all rules. Abigon may use automated translation for moderation purposes.
• Duplicate ads (identical or very similar) in the same or different categories are not allowed.

2. Content Requirements

• Each ad must describe only one product, service, or job opening.
• The title and description must accurately reflect the item or service being offered.
• All information (price, specifications, location, etc.) must be accurate and up to date.
• Contact information (phone, email, address, social links) must be entered only in the designated fields, not in the title or description.
• Ads must not contain misleading, false, or exaggerated claims.
• Examples of prohibited claims:
  • "100% guaranteed results"
  • "Earn$10,000/month (no proof)"
  • Fake scarcity such as "Last item!" or "Only today!"
• Prices must be fixed in the ad. Auction-style bidding or price changes after publication are not allowed.

3. Photos, Media, and Links

• Only real photos of the actual product or service are allowed. Stock images, illustrations, or company logos are permitted only if they do not violate other rules (e.g., no explicit content, no advertising of other sites).
• Watermarks are allowed only for copyrighted professional photos.
• Photos must not contain prices, contact details, promotional text, or any graphic elements intended to attract extra attention (e.g., "Urgent", "Sale").
• Explicit nudity, pornography, or any adult content is strictly prohibited.
• Video links must be approved by moderation.
• No links to external websites are allowed in the ad title or description.

4. Prohibited Content and Activities

Ads for illegal, restricted, or regulated goods and services under U.S. law are strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, knives, pepper spray, stun guns, and any other weapons regulated by law.
• Prescription drugs without a valid license, controlled substances (including CBD in states where prohibited), and drug paraphernalia (e.g., bongs, vaporizers marketed for illegal use).
• Alcohol, tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and vaping liquids.
• Counterfeit items, stolen goods, or any products infringing intellectual property rights.
• Services that are illegal, unethical, or may cause harm to third parties, including hacking, academic cheating, or any form of fraud.
• Adult services, erotic content, or sexually explicit material.
• Discrimination, hate speech, or incitement to violence.
• Multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, or similar business models.
• Job offers that require upfront payment or recruitment of subagents.
• Offers of fraudulent, misleading, or non-existent products or services.

5. Agency and Business Listings

• Definition: Agency accounts must represent registered businesses. Abigon may request proof of registration for verification.
• Agencies and businesses are encouraged to clearly indicate their company name and contact details in the designated fields.
• Employees of agencies may post ads from personal accounts, but duplicate ads for the same item or service are not allowed.
• Agencies must have the consent of the owner to list real estate or other third-party property.

6. Moderation

• All ads are subject to review and moderation by Abigon staff, typically within 24 hours.
• Abigon may use automated translation for moderation of non-English ads.
• We reserve the right to remove or edit any ad that violates these rules or applicable law, with or without notice.
• Removed ads may be stored for up to 90 days to investigate violations or respond to legal requests.

7. Appeals and Reporting

• To report urgent violations (e.g., scams), contact support@abigon.net.
• Users may appeal moderation decisions within 7 days by emailing support@abigon.net. Appeals will be reviewed within 3 business days. Urgent reports (e.g., active scams) are prioritized.

8. Responsibility

• Abigon is not responsible for the accuracy of ads or for any transactions or communications between users.
• Users are solely responsible for the content they post and for their interactions with others on the platform.

9. Enforcement and Sanctions

Violations are categorized as:

• Minor: (e.g., first-time posting errors, minor rule violations)
  • 1st offense: warning; 2nd offense: 7-day ban.
• Major: (e.g., scams, illegal items, repeated serious violations)
  • Immediate and permanent ban.

• Users who violate these rules may have their ads removed and their access to the site restricted or blocked.
• Abigon reserves the right to limit the number of ads per user or take other actions to maintain the quality and safety of the platform.
